adaffix is an award winning mobile application available free for smartphones. It enriches the phone call experience by adding relevant local and social content to calls in realtime.
Users instantly receive a list of alternative merchants when a business they’ve called does not answer the phone. The app also identifies callers that are not in the user’s contacts list and displays their name as the phone rings. It shows the photo and up-to-date status of Facebook friends when they call. In January 2011 adaffix released new popular features including reverse number search, call blocker, contact synchronization and Facebook mobile connect.
Once installed on the phone, adaffix runs automatically in the background so the user need only be reactive. With the app running constantly, the addition of relevant local and social content to calls happens as they happen.
The app runs on BlackBerry, HTC, LG, Motorola, Palm, Samsung, Nokia, Apple and SonyEricsson phones that support on of the following mobile operating systems: Android, BlackBerry RIM, Symbian S60 Windows Mobile and iPhone OS (with limitations due to Apple’s restrictive multitasking policy).
